LINT CENTER ANNOUNCES 2011
JIM AND ANNA HYONJOO LINT SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
Lint Center for National
Security Studies Awards Scholarship to Graduate at the
University of Texas at El Paso
“I am honored to be awarded this
scholarship from the Lint Center for National Security Studies,
as it will enable me to continue to excel in my studies,” said
Matt Richardson, a graduate student at the University of Texas
at El Paso. “The award and the Lint Center’s recognized
mentoring program will be a great asset to me as I seek to
complete my M.S. in Intelligence and National Security Studies
and pursue post-graduation employment opportunities.”
“The Lint Center is pleased to award
the 2011 Jim and Anna Hyonjoo Lint Scholarship to Matt
Richardson,” said James Lint, Chairman and CEO of the Lint
Center for National Security Studies. “The Center and the
Scholarship Review Committee were extremely impressed by Matt’s
essay which focused on combating the drug trade between Mexico
and the United States. His focus and the challenge he proposes
is that America needs to fundamentally rethink its tactical and
strategic approach. We look forward to working with Matt and
pairing him up with a mentor who can best advise him as he
continues his studies and seeks to identify how best to apply
his talents.”
