LINT CENTER VICE CHAIRWOMAN
RECEIVES DOCTORATE IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP
The Lint Center for
National Security Studies, Anna Hyonjoo Lint, Awarded PhD
with Dissertation on Student Persistence in E-Learning
WASHINGTON,
D.C., March 10, 2011 – The Lint Center, a non-profit charity,
focused on supporting the educational pursuits of the next
generation of America’s Counterintelligence and National
Security Workers, today formally announced that Anna Hyonjoo
Lint was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational
Leadership from the College of Education at Trident University
International.
“We are enormously proud of the hard
work and dedication Anna has demonstrated by completing her
Doctoral studies,” said Gary Scher, Scholarship Committee
Chairman at the Lint Center for National Security Studies.
“Doctor Lint’s accomplishment of achieving the highest academic
recognition in her field is an impressive standalone triumph.
However, her achievement is even greater when one realizes it
was attained in a second language. Dr. Lint’s success clearly
demonstrates that language need not be a barrier and her example
further illustrates the character of persistence as well as
steadfast commitment to education that we all share.”
As Mr. Scher further observed, “The
Lint Center is focused on providing educational opportunities
for students across the board and to have a senior executive
team member attain this educational milestone serves to
demonstrate the Center’s deep commitment to education. We
congratulate Anna on a job well done and look forward to further
benefiting from her expertise.”
The
complete dissertation and the findings of the study on “The
Impact of Student Progress Factors on Student Persistence in
E-Learning” by Dr. Anna Hyonjoo Lint will be published in
Proquest.
