Center Unveils Virginia and Frank Misselhorn Memorial
Scholarship
Recognizing Extraordinary Students in
Alliance Building, Counterintelligence, and National Security
studies
The Lint Center for National Security
Studies, Inc, a non-profit charity, focused on supporting the
educational pursuits of the next generation of America’s
Counterintelligence and National Security Workers,
today unveiled the Virginia and Frank Misselhorn Memorial
Scholarship which aims to identify, support, and mentor an
emerging leader focused on Alliance Building,
Counterintelligence, and National Security studies.
The Virginia and Frank Misselhorn Memorial
Scholarship fund provides $500 to recipients pursuing scholastic
study in fields related to Alliance Building,
Counterintelligence, and National Security studies.
“The Lint Center is extremely pleased to
be offering the Virginia and Frank Misselhorn Memorial
scholarship award for the third consecutive year,” said Jim
Lint, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Lint Center
for National Security Studies, Inc. “This scholarship has become
one of the Center’s most sought after awards and we are
extremely optimistic the level of interest as well as applicant
submission caliber will be more impressive in 2010 than it was
in years past.”

The Virginia and Frank Misselhorn Memorial
Scholarship fund provides $500 to recipients pursuing scholastic
study in fields related to Alliance Building,
Counterintelligence, and National Security studies.
The deadline for scholarship applications
is July 31.

is a private non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization created to award
merit-based scholarships for Counterintelligence and National Security
Workers, their children and scholars, and to advance the study of
National Security, cross-cultural studies, and global understanding.
The Center aims to:
- Identify promising individuals and assist in educational pursuits through scholarship initiatives
- Provide talented individuals with a meaningful leadership development mentoring program by current-and-former Counterintelligence and National Security Workers
- Create a forum for the dissemination and discussion of National Security Studies through the Center’s online Web-portal
All donations and contributions to the Lint Center are allocated solely to the Center’s scholarship funds. All actions and activities by the Lint Center are conducted by unpaid staff and volunteers. The Center is Veteran and minority operated and managed.
