Devin Hernandez is a Junior-year government major at the College of William and Mary (W&M) in Williamsburg, Virginia. His course of studies has placed a strong focus on strategic issues and national security, interests originating in an early life spent watching CNN. These interests were further reinforced during his time at Chantilly High School, where he participated in Model United Nations and Debate and took several summer courses on international relations and political science with the Johns Hopkins University CTY program. In additionally, Devin studied in Washington DC for a semester with the W&M in Washington DC program, during this time he also interned at the US Department of State. He is also a member of the W&M Detachment of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. An avid history and current affairs buff, Devin spends much of his spare time reading the news, opinion journalism and books.
