Jared Zimmerman is the winner of 2018 International Association for Intelligence Education Scholarship.

Jared is a first year graduate student at American University’s School of International Service in Washington, D.C. where he is pursuing an MA in international affairs with a focus on U.S. foreign policy and national security. After graduating, he hopes to serve his country in the Intelligence Community focusing on counterterrorism and cybersecurity.

Prior to attending SIS, Jared worked in the software industry in his native Southern California for five years. This fall he will be starting an internship at the Stimson Center researching nuclear security developments.
