After two years of teaching English to foreign nationals and an extensive senior research project on US foreign aid, she decided her senior year of high school that she wanted to study International Relations, and pursue a career in the intelligence community and diplomacy. Since then, her passion for International Relations has only grown.

She has pursued several activities to prepare her for a career in international relations and the intelligence community. For over a year, she competed on the COC Model United Nations team and served as Vice President for the 2013-2014 academic year. She learned tools of diplomacy, conducted research, enhanced public speaking skills, and won the top award at nearly every conference attended.

She will be studying International Studies – Political Science program, with a secondary focus in Economics at University of California, San Diego. Upon graduation, she plans to work as a Foreign Service officer for several years, culminating in her permanent employment with the State Department or Central Intelligence Agency.
